Week 1 Post #3: Audio or voice recording program

I found the program named "Audacity" that you can download from "http://audacity.sourceforge.net/". This program was created by 2 technicians, Dominic Mazzoni and Roger Dannenberg during the fall of 1999 at Carnegie Mellon University. SourceForge.net published this program as open-source software on 2000,May. It is acceptable to work with both PC and Mac. You can import and export WAV, AIFF, AU, and Ogg Vorbis files. Also you can add basic audio effects such as Echo, Phaser, Wahwah and Reverse. I am impressed those effects i.e. remove static, hiss, hum, or other constant background noises. That will help to record wherever they want even they are in little noisy situation.
